The Good, The Bad, and the Ugly - Vancouver 4 Columbus 1

This was not a game we deserved to win – yet we did.  It was a much needed 2 points but Columbus out played us pretty much the whole game.  Pascal Leclaire simply was not on his game tonight and it seemed like their forwards just couldn’t hit the net.  But hey, we needed the win and I will gladly take it.

Alexandre Burrows

 The Good:

- Curtis Sanford had a very solid night in net: something we had been lacking from our back-up in recent memory
- Markus Naslund on the Canuck’s 3rd goal: this is exactly what we need Naslund to do; very encouraging to see him skate and shoot like he has done in years past
- Ryan Kesler, in my opinion, was not only the best Canuck player tonight but he has been the best Canuck player all season long so far
- the Canuck’s checking line
- the number of blocked shots we had

The Bad:

- the amount of dumb, lazy and sloppy penalties that we continue to take; tonight it was beyond ridiculous
- not too many forwards showed up tonight

       The Ugly:
- the second period: 0 shots on net for Canucks....0!!!!
- the fact we are 30 out of 30 in the NHL for face-offs won
