WE BLEW IT!!!!!!!!

Wow, I'm more pissed that our guys played a good game and lost, then if we were to play horribly and lose. It wasn't the Canucks best effort, but we should've won that one as I believe we outplayed the oilers tonight.

Thanks to the Canucks for some exciting hockey this season. Some of the faces we've grown to recognize will no longer be with us come training camp. To put it bluntly, it had to take a missed playoff for the GM to better the team for next year.

The last game of the season is on my birthday and it will not be a happy birthday in my household. We were so close, too close for my likeing to fail. Looks like that four game losing streak sealed our fate. Too bad, it would've been a hell of a postseason.

Hopefully, the boys will show up for Saturdays contest and not sulk and get blown out of the water in the final game of the year. I'm already thinking about October and just maybe, we'll ice a cup contender.

When you have close to 20 minutes on the PP and can't score a goal, you don't deserve to win. It's as simple as that. The Canucks played a decent game but their power play just let em down. Inconsistency was their problem all season long and this once again became apparent against the Oil.

Oh well, it should be interesting to see what changes come in the offseason. And contrary to your hopes, I hope the Canucks lose on Saturday, just so we'll have a higher draft pick! Until next season, GO CANUCKS GO!
